Poor Chingh Lingy, one of my cats....

So Chingy Lingy may die very soon. I'm very sad. Here's the short story….Thursday the vet came to the house to give Chingy and Obolo their rabies shot (finally, I was two months late on that) and the vet noticed that Obolo was having some skin problems, so she gave me some pills to give to the cats. Two now and Two two weeks later, I do not believe she told me to wait until morning…so I gave the pills to CHingy and Obolo Thursday night. I wake up Friday morning at 530am and hear the cats mewing, I'd accidentally locked them in the kitchen through the night (which is not uncommon) and when I opened the door, Obolo was fine but Chingy was lying on the floor barely breathing and having convulsions! So I was terrified, I called the vet and the result was she said I was supposed to wait until Friday morning to give the cats food and that it's too much stress on them and this is bad, oh jesus this is bad and then my phone ran out of units and she didn't call me back! Ah! Well, chingy is still alive and it's Monday, but she's barely alive, and I tried to call the vet on Saturday, but she wasn't home so her daughter answered and said the vet would call me back. Well she didn't, and I tried to call again this morning and she refused to answer the phone. If chingy is still alive when I get back home I'll try the vet one more time, cuz I don't know if CHingy has ODed or perhaps has Rabies anyway, that's been an emotional stressor for me and homesickness has finally started, haha, 5months later……I miss being anonymous and I miss knowing what to expect when I do something, I miss men not always asking me to marry them, etc. But I have a job to do, and I"ll complete it.

As for the weekend, Brother Freddie came to Foase! That was nice, I went with him to visit his secondary school, an all boys school….can you imagine what that was like? A white woman walking around an all boys boarding school? But it was good to finally see an SSS (high school).

(Who added me to M-Ws word of the day? I can't check my email often enough nor do I have time for that. Please no one add my name to any lists, I barely have time to respond to the people I love, and I don't open Fwds either)

Handwashing stations should be in place (the temporary ones) at school no later than next week. I'm praying anyway

I"m really tired now, so hopefully i'll write more in the next email. HOpe you're all doing well. I miss everyone...
